FAQ on Tokoz adjustable floating floor pedestals and WPC deck: recycled PP, use on insulation, 7% slope, 1000 kg / 500 kg loads, drainage and fire behaviour.
Answers on pedestal raw material, insulation, slope, drainage and WPC performance.
01What is the raw material of Tokoz adjustable (floating) floor pedestals?
They are produced from 100% recycled polypropylene.
02Isn’t it inconvenient to use it on insulation?
The wide base diameter removes the need for anchorage. Because no fixings pierce the membrane, Tokoz pedestals do not harm the insulation. On the contrary, they let you open the floor point by point if a leak appears.
03Which slope rate (%) can it be used on at maximum?
Without glue or anchorage, pour slope screed up to 7%. Steeper fields need anchorage or bedding because system stability drops.
04Where will Tokoz adjustable (floating) floor pedestals be used?
Indoors and outdoors, on walkable or non-walkable floors of any kind.
05What is the bearing capacity of the system?
Tokoz Premium Pedestal bears at least 1000 kg and Tokoz Clever Pedestal bears at least 500 kg.
06What is a pedestal foot?
A pedestal foot is a height-adjustable plastic support under tiles, joists or deck boards. It levels the finished floor, spreads load, leaves a drainage void and keeps waterproofing intact. Tokoz pedestals are structural terrace supports — not furniture glides.
07What is Tokoz wood-plastic composite deck?
A technological product that joins pine fibres with high-density PE or PVC so you get the look of wood with low maintenance and high resistance.
